Marionette Masquerade
Marionette Masquerade is a game I developed with a couple of other people for Global Game Jam 2026, where the theme was “Mask”
I was the main programmer on the project and implemented the core systems around swapping, movement, and shooting.
The game is essentially a Hotline Miami clone with the ability to switch bodies at will. This causes nearby enemies to lose aggression momentarily and creates some very fun and dynamic gameplay.
Me and one of the other developers on the project are currently working to expand the game into a full steam release. We plan to add features like grabbable physics objects, a human shield mechanic
(similar to APE OUT) and expand on the enemy AI and behavior.
This project was immensely fun to develop and I’m enjoying expanding on it in my free time.
